Top 3 Dog Injuries

1. Severe bleeding. Many people think that they themselves can provide the correct aid for bleeding. If the dog is bleeding for more than 5 minutes, they must be taken care of by the vet. It is not always easy to see ow much a dog has bled because of its color and fur length; it can hide the severity of the injury. The safest thing to do is to take your pet to the vet because they could need stitches, have a deeper wound than it appears, or internal bleeding that can only be determined by a professional.

2. Difficulty breathing and choking. It is common for pet owners to wait and see if their pet cannot breathe, but it can often lead to more painful time for the dogs. If your dog is choking retrain your dog, they tend to panic, struggle, and panic bite, worsening the situation. Always release any material restraining them, such as a collar clothing, or any jewelry. If there is something visible in mouth you can remove it only if you can see what is happening in the mouth. It is always crucial to always take the dog to the vet even after they are breathing normally again to ensure they are safe of danger. Because they are not like a child, they cannot tell us how the feel so we cannot assume that they are okay.
